The First Presbyterian Church of Bend Foundation exists to ensure that love continues to show up in real ways—feeding, teaching, healing, and welcoming—now and for generations to come. The Foundation was created so that acts of kindness and faith today can continue to bear fruit tomorrow, sustaining ministries that care for people in Bend and far beyond. Every gift, whether large or small, becomes part of a larger story: a living expression of gratitude and hope that grows each year and touches more lives than any one of us could reach alone.

Through wise stewardship and transparent management, gifts to the Foundation sustain local ministries, global outreach, and compassionate responses in times of need. The Foundation provides a trusted avenue for those who wish to give back to the church and to the wider community, ensuring that resources are managed responsibly, invested thoughtfully, and used faithfully. Funds are guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who prayerfully discern how best to align the Foundation’s resources with the mission of extending Christ’s inclusive love.

In Bend, that love takes tangible forms. It shows up in meals served to neighbors experiencing hunger, in support for children and families through education and childcare, and in programs that create connection and belonging for those who might otherwise feel unseen. It travels beyond the walls of the church and across the world through mission partnerships that provide clean water, medical care, and hope in places of great need. Each of these efforts is possible because of gifts entrusted to the Foundation by people who wanted their generosity to keep working long after they were gone.
